MEET THE STAFF
Justin Hucker (Owner)
(Guitar / Bass / Livestreams / Podcasts)
Moving to South Florida in 2005, Justin worked as the Music Director at School of Rock and as head sound engineer at Swampgrass Willy's. Occasionally he would also engineer for the iHeartRADIO™ Theater in West Palm Beach. Justin has mixed live sound for acts such as A Great Big World, Echosmith, Rixton, The Bastard Suns, Oh Honey, Austin Mahone and many others.

Referring to himself as a "Kurt Cobain Impostor," Justin took the stage as the guitarist and voice for "Smells Like Grunge: The Nirvana Tribute," from 2014-2017. While a member of SLG, they performed all along the East Coast selling out many of their venues gaining popularity and critical praise. Justin left the Nirvana Tribute with SLG's bassist to pursue an original project and focus on LMC. He is now working on a documentary project with The Shake & Dominic DeLaney.

Cory Bickford (Band Director)
(Keys / Vocals / Guitar / Bass / Drums)
Cory is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University’s Commercial Music program where he earned a Bachelors of Music degree in 2014. He studied classical and jazz piano as well as recording, production, composition, and music business. Cory has been teaching music ever since and plays in a variety of bands in the South Florida area.
From Death Metal vocalist to Yacht Rock keyboardist, Cory has played in an eclectic variety of bands over the years and always brings the same level of commitment & professionalism to every job, gig, part or role. He is currently the keyboardist & vocalist in State of Flux, a progressive metal band gigging across Florida over the last five years.

Yaz Velazquez
(Vocals / Keys / Guitar / Bass / Ukulele)
Yaz is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University where he studied voice and music technology and received his Bachelors in Music with an emphasis in commercial music. He has been in the South Florida music scene for over a decade both as an instructor and performer and has shared the stage at Sunfest as well as toured the east coast.
Teaching a variety of instruments including guitar, bass, keyboard, ukulele, mandolin, drums, and voice; he believes a strong music theory background allowed him to “connect the dots” when it came to learning new instruments. “Understanding how to read music and grasping the fundamentals opens the door to a whole world of possibilities”. Yaz is always excited to share his passion for music with his students and looks forward to meeting new musicians in the making.

Ben Childs
(Guitar / Bass / Keys / Vocals / Sax / Flute / Banjo / Mandolin)

Ben achieved his B.A. in music at Manchester University in England. Out of college he co-founded Sonic Boom Six sharing stages with Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto, and Voodoo Glowskulls. They also performed in festivals such as Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds among many others. His recording background has even led him to work with respected producers and engineers such as Ace from Skunk Anansie. Ben has shared the stage as everyone from Ritchie Havens to Gary Newman to Kings of Leon.
Since being in Florida, Ben has professionally taught music for over a decade. His training and experience afford him a well rounded musical perspective that he enjoys passing on to his students. Ben can teach many instruments (literally anything you give him) but considers saxophone and guitar to be his primary instruments.
He currently leads two bands, Killbillies (Americana/Celtic) and No Name Ska Band (Rock/Ska) and can be found performing every weekend. He also hosts the 561 Music Podcast where he interviews local musicians, venue/club owners and promoters. A true all rounder, Ben is a music teacher for all seasons and can accommodate any challenge that you bring to him.

Ryan Weidenfeld
(Drums / Percussion)
Ryan was born and raised in South Florida, began playing drums at age 6 and majored in percussion at the School Of The Arts where he studied concert band, orchestra, and jazz until his graduation. At 13, Ryan formed a band that went on to open for No Doubt, Less Than Jake, Live, and 3 Doors Down. He then joined popular local band B-liminal, opening for Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, Micheal Franti, Sister Hazel, and many more.
After this local success, Ryan moved to Nashville going on countless tours and opening for artists Wynona Judd, Hank Williams Jr., Big and Rich, and Thomas Rhett to name a few. Passionate about music, Ryan has been teaching drums across south Florida and Nashville for the past 10 years and is currently endorsed by SJC Custom Drums, Saluda Cymbals, Drumtacs, and Collision Drumsticks.

Zach Levine
(Guitar / Bass / Keys / Drums)
Zach attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where he studied performance with a concentration in electric and upright bass. During his time in Massachusetts, he played with a variety of wedding bands, theater companies, and recording artists such as The GYE Band, Zach Santos, and Hopkinton Center for the Arts.
From classical guitar to funky slap bass, Zach has you covered. Since returning to his home state of Florida, he has been teaching guitar, bass, keys, and drums professionally in a variety of styles. Zach's ability to enjoy the process of learning & teaching makes him an inspiring teacher. His focus on having fun whilst imparting music theory & good technique fits perfectly with what LMC strives to accomplish.
