LMC prefers students to take their makeups. However, we do understand that it can be hard to find the time, especially for larger families. Below are some alternatives in case makeup lessons just aren't feasible.

Reply To Makeup Times Text: "DONATE" Makeups are 100% transferrable for friends, family members, or anyone you'd like to give them to. Experiences make for great gifts and a trip to our studio is always a great experience. If you don't have anyone in mind you can donate your lesson to Give & Let Give. It's an event we host once per season. We ask local musicians to donate any music gear they're not using and then we give it to any local kids that want it. No strings attached. By donating a makeup, you'll be giving a kid a lesson where they can learn how to use their new gear! You can also choose to tip your teacher. Our instructors are always going above and beyond. Donating a makeup lesson to reward their efforts is very appreciated.

Reply To Makeup Times Text: "REQUEST" If none of our options are working, feel free to request a specific day, time, and/or teacher. Of course, there's no guarantee, but it never hurts to ask. Requesting a lesson for a different instrument is also an option. Gaining experience in a wide range of instruments will give you a better insight into how instruments work together. A lot of what you know from one instrument will translate to other instruments.

Reply To Makeup Times Text: "CREDIT" You can also simply opt to wait until 5 makeups accumulate. At this point, we will credit your next month of lessons. We definitely request that the other options be considered before choosing a credit. Of course, we totally understand if you need to use this option. That's why we have it! If you do prefer a credit, you will not be sent makeup times each week and instead, will be notified as soon as you accumulate 5 makeups. They will be credited the next month.
